Has it ever happened to anyone that you’re not paying attention while doing a menial task and suddenly a weird realization arises about something random out of nowhere? That happened to me not too long ago when I turned on the TV and “The Price is Right” was on.
As a designer, I love and geek out over typography. And because of this, I noticed that “The Price is Right” logo had a something about it that I’d seen before. But I couldn’t tell what it was. Since I have an insatiable level of curiosity about everything, I stared at the logo for a minute and googled the name of the font. I went through my small collection of Playstation games and took out the box. It is the exact same font! And this is the kind of stuff I obsess and geek out about. Here are two logos so you can compare:
Now, excuse me while I change my pocket protector and push up my ever-sliding black-framed glasses.
